We have been regulars at 346 Clement for a year and everything has consistently been delicious! Highly recommend the curry puffs, pumpkin curry, and pad z-ew noodles, and fried banana w/ coconut ice cream -- but everything we've tried has been excellent and portions are generous. The orange spicy sauce on the table is delicious and unique too (it's hot!). No deceptive surcharges either. Food comes out fast and hot. Love supporting this friendly neighborhood restaurant! We tried a competitor restaurant in the area (not Nakorn), too, and King's Thai is definitely far superior. Note: This review is for the restaurant at 346 Clement (the names are confusing, the other location is much smaller and the menu seems different. I haven't tried that one and I think it's called Nakorn now). Cross-posting this review here since so many of the current reviews and pictures appear to be for the 346 location.

Still the best Thai food in the city! I stopped by with my sister for lunch after the farmer's market & we were so happy and satisfied after our meal! It was busy though (went around 12:30 and they had one table open) so we got lucky with seating. We ordered the beef noodle soup with sliced beef, pad Thai with chicken, and pad kra pao with a fried egg. Food came out quickly and everything was so tasty! As other reviewers have mentioned, it seems like they are under new management, however everything tasted just as good if not better than before. Portions also did seem larger than I remember. Staff was very nice and prices are more than reasonable! Also, under the new management, they now take card (no longer cash only)!! I cannot wait until my next visit!

Four solid stars for my takeout of pad kee mao with pork which had a nice not too too spice kick to it. Service was fast and highly recommend this place which has been here for years on Clement street.

Well this will be sort of an update to my previous review.   * Note UNDER NEW OWNER- Restaurant's name will be changing soon to: "Nakorn Thai SF".  A new menu consisting of new and current favorites will be coming soon too. **Full Disclosure**  The new owners are friends of my Brother in Law.    The staff is really friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. No problems adjusting heat levels of dishes. The restaurant is intimate with room for about 28 seats.  Floors and table tops are clean.  Table turnover and resets are quick.  Open kitchen design so when you walk in, you can see the kitchen to your right. We started with: Beef Larb ($15.00)- good flavor.  Slightly spicy but the hint of lime and cilantro really balances the dish.   Chicken satay ($13.00) is slightly on the bland side but the peanut sauce is truly amazing. Main Courses: I ordered the Kao Gra Prow ($15.00) with ground beef. For those that like basil this is really the dish for you, love that basil!!  Sweet bell peppers slightly take the edge off the heat from the Thai chili.    Please note the dish might be a bit spicy for some people. Tasted the Golden Pumpkin ($16.00)  with slices of beef in a red curry.  Sweet in the beginning with a tiny bit of heat at finish.  Tender slices of beef and pumpkin. Tasted the Kao Pad Moo Dang Goon Chiang ($16.00) Chinese sausage fried rice with BBQ pork.  It is simply a comfort food.  It brings back memories of my childhood/  Not spicy at all so it will be safe for most little kids.   Thai Iced Tea ($3.50).  Sweet and refreshing.  Really good at helping to cut the heat in some of the spicier dishes.  Mango sticky rice for dessert.  Sweet mango with sticky rice.  If you have room for dessert... This will fill that gap.  Love the sweet milk on top.  My wife wanted this as her main entrée. Restroom is a single unisex.  The room is clean and well stocked.  There is plenty of room and its brightly lit.
